Hi, sorry for the very long delay in replying. If you are still looking to resolve this, can you try running with debug=TRUE
in your bugs()
call?
from r2multibugs.
Via an email conversation with a colleague of yours, I think we established the problem was fixed by using the full path to MultiBUGS.exe
in the MultiBUGS.pgm
argument of bugs()
. e.g.
schools.sim <- bugs(data, inits, parameters, model.file,
n.chains=3, n.workers = 2, n.iter=5000,
debug = TRUE,
MultiBUGS.pgm= "C:\\MultiBUGS-1.0\\MultiBUGS\\MultiBUGS.exe”)
whereas the following doesn’t work:
schools.sim <- bugs(data, inits, parameters, model.file,
n.chains=3, n.workers = 2, n.iter=5000,
debug = TRUE,
MultiBUGS.pgm= "C:\\MultiBUGS-1.0\\MultiBUGS\\”)
Clearly the current error message is very unclear, and will need to be improved.
