Hmm. I'm struggling to reproduce this. Could you please provide a setup with exact dependencies? Either using lix or using haxelib newrepo and then zip it up or something? ^^

Yeah, it's a regression in 4.3, see HaxeFoundation/haxe#11212
I'm not entirely sure what to do about it right now.

If there is no easy workaround, I guess we have to wait for 4.3.2 and throw an error for 4.3.1 at compile time. At the moment its better to use 4.2.5 as long this is not fixed.
