Weird. Are you using the default theme or not? I don't have that issue on the default theme which is why I ask.

When I discovered this issue I was in a custom theme (very different from the default) but I have since tried it in my other custom theme (still has inherited header_welcomeblock_member unaltered) and it does it in that theme too.

The copy I have on localhost is a 3 day old backup of my forum that is live.

Just checked it and have fixed the issue. Re-submitted to the mods DB and now updating github :)
