Another missing hook: alerts aren't displayed whenever a moderator/administrator warns an user and sends a PM to the user :)

Yeah, I'm going to have to look into a new way of doing the whole PM alert I think. Hopefully the PM handler has a hook I can use.

I am receiving alerts for mass mail, but the link is pointing to the last PM that the user sent- so I get sent to 'PM doesn't exist' screen.

Yeah, PM alerts are kind of buggy. I really need to take another look at them as soon as I get time.

Right, I'm also going to be looking at this one tomorrow while fixing up the user settings implementation.

Looking at this now, the PM isn't inserted in the PM datahandler until after the hook is ran - meaning the PM id is not set... Annoying.

I had a similar issue with grabbing post info from Quick Edit. Because of the relationship of the hook to the finalization of the $post variable it became necessary to retrieve information in other ways.

The problem is it usually costs in performance. 😦

Yeah, I've posted an issue in the dev forum @ mybb with 3 possible solutions.

Still unsure as to how to proceed with this issue. Thinking I might just add a custom hook via PL.

Since MyAlerts already uses PL it wouldn't be to bad to add a custom hook. That's what @Shade- is good at ;).

The new patch for 2.0.0 might have fixed this issue (over a year later, nearly 2). I haven't tested it though. Any of you guys up for giving it a test? 😄
