"My Requests" link on the NavBar

"My profile" seems like quite a universal pattern for this. I'd say that people would expect it to live at the top right -- maybe next to the user name, like this: "hello, Seb Bacon [my profile] [sign out]".

I would also suggest that this page, or something very like it, become the home page for logged in users.

The first 3 support emails WDTK received when the new site went live was "I can't find my requests", and feedback when told about the new "my profile" link, was that the "my requests" should be brought back, & prominent on the main toolbar. If the suggestion to have the user's page as the logged-in homepage is implemented, this is less of an issue.

Profile is fine to use for change of password, photo, email address, about me text etc

OK - though on the other hand someone who's used to seeing it one place would say that when it got moved, wouldn't they? :)

We're maybe 3 or 4 weeks off trying redeployment (pending getting a proper staging server so we can do performance debugging) so let's revisit then. It might be interesting to do some informal user testing on new users to get some more ideas about this. (I'm not against re-introducing "My Requests" in principle :) And/or making the "my profile" page be the logged-in home page).
