At the moment the videos on http://www.theyworkforyou.com/video/?from=random have pictures out of sync with the sound.

Just a note, on going through all the TheyWorkForYou issues, that the audio / video sync is still way off.

User feedback "The audio and video are not in sync for me" - could we look at putting a message somewhere prominent, or figuring out what route people comonly take to the videos, and blocking it?

The videos are on any debate page that has a video associated with it, e.g. http://www.theyworkforyou.com/debate/?id=2010-04-06c.924.3 - I assume some are for whatever reason out of sync, but better to have that then nothing at all?

I'm not sure how there are any left to be matched, but if these people are coming through http://www.theyworkforyou.com/video/ (which does e.g. have things saying "if the video appears broken, let us know"), then that could be removed until such time as it can be looked at.

Ah, apologies, I thought they were all broken and it was a known issue. Probably fine to leave as is, then.

Looking at analytics, /video doesn't receive that many visits (~2,300 views in the last year out of more than 5.5 million).

User comment: "Excellent service, it would be really interesting if you could somehow tie in audio/video? Not even sure if you can source that but it would certainly be interesting to try?!" - ie, whether or not video works, I guess the next step is to make sure people know about it.

Given that the video is no longer updated and it relies on Flash which is increasingly unsupported/unavailable I am going to close this.
