A workaround for this can be just include the missing icons as GResources, but I think it's not the ideal, since those icons are included in the Adwaita icon theme, so they should be present.
edit-find-symbolic and open-menu-symbolic seem to work, what do the missing icons have in common?

It seems that the missing icons belong to the same categories as the custom icons that I uploaded via GResources
I'll try this: currently in the status category I have only one icon, and it is not being used. If removing it brings me back computer-fail-symbolic, then that will give me the cause of the bug

Well, according to the last said in the GTK issue, this error occurs only with certain icon themes. So I'll close it since it's not our issue
