Show offline error messages when the user has no connection and tries to login/register

Hmmmm... this is really odd that the problem only occurs on wifi. Unfortunately I’m unable to recreate this one on my end. Are there any additional details in the error message or in the console that can help me debug this?

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the only message on the console is this: "JS: TypeError: Network request failed". On the upside, it works fine on Wifi at home and but the same error comes up with the Wifi at work, there could be something blocking with my office Wifi. Additionally, I noticed the same error when my internet at home was having connectivity issues, when there was no internet, the same error pops up. Not sure how the config URL is handling such bandwidth issues or blockage issues.

Interesting. Currently the code treats all errors the same to give a user-friendly message (see https://github.com/NativeScript/sample-Groceries/blob/master/app/views/login/login.js#L58-L65). I should probably change that to handle offline situations differently, as I think users would want to know that the app isn’t working specifically because they don’t have a network connection. I’ll put that on my to-do list.

I'm too getting the same issue, but I'm using native AVD and this is occurring when registering a new account to the app.
