Note, this doesn't prevent me from building my projects or anything -- it's just an error that rust-analyzer spits out while doing its own thing for code analysis.

Hello!
Agh... this, it does not surprises me I am having a lot of issues at compilation time since we added shader-c because glsl-to-spirv doesn't support new apple chips. I cannot wait to move to naga.
I am going to check it and try to fix it. Thanks for the heads up!
