im stock on this error, i manage to use now the batpro scripts and fnlock but cant use the matebook applet command , with this error...

I manage to fix this error by installing a package in the AUR

yay -Y libappindicator-gtk3

then simply add ./matebook-applet command to be executed whenever i3 start

there are other version of libappidicator some are gtk2 , install what fits your system...

Thanks, good catch! The applet does actually depend on libappindicator, I've included this in README.
