Fetch a link from an existing Element

I'd like to get the self URL for the new created Element.

This code might answer your question. It receives a newly created object, URL of the request to create one and a schemas. The schemas is used to get a schema for the object and BaseSchema::getSelfLink is used to create the URL.
There are multuple ways to get the schemas. Encoder recieves them as an input (so when you create one you might remember it) or you can use getter though it's protected and you will need to do something with it.
