I'd say there are 2 parts to this:
1. Discover printers.
2. Collect and display data from the printers.
#2 is fairly straightforward, the printer mibs are fairly extensive. #1 is a
problem - I don't think it's appropriate for netdisco to, e.g., speculatively
perform SNMP to every known device to see if it's a printer.
It might be worth exploring a generic data collection and presentation
module to satisfy #2 (after all, there will be other classes of device that
people want to collect 0and display data from).
