mlt-git is not supported for shotcut since it breaks most of the time, use mlt instead.

my installed mlt version is:
aur/mlt-git r1-1 [installed: r4642.1525216865.42621eed-1]

makepkg throws an error:

Finally, I updated mlt-git package with yaourt -S mlt-git. Yes, with yaourt. And now shotcut updates perfectly fine, also with yaourt.
Thanks a lot for that hint.

Isn't it possible to make shotcut depend on a specific version of mlt instead of the mlt-git version? If not, we can close this issue.
