I can't reproduce this. The program compiles and runs. However, it produces strange characters as output. What's the expected output for, say ParamStr(1) == 90? What OS, what CPU do you use?
from nim.
The output is an image in PBM format (binary, which explains the strange characters). You can get the expected output for 90 here: https://bitbucket.org/jmb/nimrod-mirror/downloads/mandelbrot.pbm (I did not find a way to attach a file to the bug report here).
I am on a 64 bits Linux system:
==> uname -a Linux wraith 2.6.39-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Jul 9 14:57:41 CEST 2011 x86_64 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3800+ AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux
from nim.
I should probably also add:
gcc (GCC) 4.6.1
from nim.
Tested for several months now (part of the test suite) with GCC 4.6.1 and not reproducible.
from nim.
The problem is still there with the latest git version (91722ce) and gcc 4.6.2. The last line of the backtrace is now:
ccgexprs.nim(1489) genTupleConstr
from nim.
