From time to time, I tag a new release, but honestly I am a bit lazy on that.

To appear under releases, I think I have to "git tag", which I used in the past. But afterwards, I just set a version number in in include file and updated the change log. My fear is that people just use a release instead of the most recent version. I do not know how large the user base of degate is, but I expect it is not a large one, maybe a dozen. I always thought using the newest version is the best one, even regarding stability. And I know that people used the Degate UI in a way I never thought of and not tested it that way.
Does anybody think it is useful to have tagged versions respectively releases? Then I would also create/tag releases.
