On master (and probably nixos-unstable) we have builds for all of {x86_64,aarch64}-{darwin,linux} now, thanks to adisbladis' fix in NixOS/nixpkgs#194865 ❤️

This issue is still occurring on the nixos-unstable channel on my x86_64-linux machine :( Is anyone on a stable NixOS version able to confirm if this is an issue for them?

It works for me today on x86_64-linux

$ nix build nixpkgs/nixos-unstable#nixops_unstable

$ nix build nixpkgs/nixos-unstable#nixopsUnstable

$ ls result/bin/
charon  nixops
