Hi,

interesting - there is already an npm for the API so should be fairly easy to wrap - http://nodered.org/docs/creating-nodes/ - However I'm unfamiliar with it and the API does look rather extensive... - How much of it would need to be exposed to be able to do the simple CRUD operations ?

Now that we support npm install of nodes it's fairly easy for anyone to create / host / publish them to npm.

Interesting - as it happens I'm about to go on vacation so won't get a chance to dig any deeper for a while - but will add it to "nodes of interest pile" - in the meantime if anyone out there fancies having a go... ?

PS . we try to use the forum - https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/node-red for discussions of ideas - and the issue tracker for actual issues with nodes - but not a problem as most people read both.
