Still not showing up with latest news+ app & latest ttrss extension. Tried in-app clearing of cache and deleting app data for both apps in Android settings, all to no avail.

Do the feed categories never show or is this an intermittent issue?

I've seen similar behaviour when a synchronisation is triggered without any
network connectivity - although they do seem to reappear on successful
syncs later. (observed on 0.0.9)

I have made a clean install with the new version of the app and the extension - no change.

I haven't ever seen the feed categories so far, no matter if I was online or offline.

Tried it a few times, nothing changed. Will set up a separate, clean Account on my TTRSS instance and see if it can sync the feed categories. Will also try another Android device.

It's weird. I could find a case where it does not work from your data.
Importing your data works for me now. What tt-rss version do u use?

I found the cause - I had categories deactivated as a whole... I must have deactivated them in the TTRSS settings a while ago because I don't use them and just called the feeds themselves 'categories' in this issue - sorry about that. I thought that news+ would just show my feeds, but they just are not shown at all. I reactivated categories and its a all good now.

Maybe you could change news+ so it shows the different feed titles even when categories are disabled in the settings.

Hi, I downloaded v. 1.01beta and the categories are shown and are expandable to see the feeds. All fine now, thanks for you hard work!
