Nested Marshal inner Nested List isn't registered into swagger definitions

You are doing nothing wrong, it's a bug (same as #35),

It's partially fixed in 09a6c64 but not yet released.

It will be very soon (today or tomorrow), but I needed some time to test.

I the meantime, there is a workaround implemented (Nested field in List field was buggy in prevous FlaskRestful version). Instead of

'checks': restplus.fields.List(restplus.fields.Nested(Check))

you can write:

'checks': api.as_list(restplus.fields.Nested(Check)),

In the next release, you can go back to the List field.
