This might not be related to the module itself, have you tried following the instructions here to remove the message https://www.drupal.org/node/2487215 ?

@ademarco I just did a test of the dev 8.x-1.x on a clean install in a completely different environment and it gave me the error. It seems like you have the Test Theme module in dev version but not in the beta release.

If I use the beta release then there is no error. If I go ahead and delete the test module from the Dev version the error disappears. So it must be something in the test module.

Yes we have moved the test theme in dev under modules/ui_patterns_test/ui_patterns_test_theme so it's probably that, I could not replicate on a clean env, could you please post here a step by step list of how I can reproduce? Thanks!

1. I am using Drush 8.0.1 2. MAMP Local environment 3. Install of Drupal 8 4. Drush dl ui_patterns-8.x-1.x 5. Drusn en ui_patterns 6. Then run drush dl webform-8.x-5.x (or any other module) 7. Error is shown Kaleem Clarkson kaleemclarkson.com <http://www.kaleemclarkson.com> 207.329.7918

Yep I can reproduce thanks! I'll have a look at it

It seems something Drush related: Drush expects ui_patterns_test_theme to be a module while it's actually a test theme within the module.

The only fix would be to move back both test theme and module under ./tests.

have you decided how you wold like to fix the issue?

I know I spent hours trying to diagnose the problem so there may be other out there spending a ton of time trying to troubleshoot this.

Yeah I think I'll move the test modules back to the tests directory so we don't have that anymore.

This is actually a Drush bug, we should probably file an issue or check if there is already something going on about it.
