I got a similar issue, which I think is caused by adding the env
key. You may want to try the command without it, since it seems vim.env
is empty in your case.
@tjdevries any idea why adding an env var can cause this error? In my case the change that broke it was https://github.com/pwntester/octo.nvim/pull/160/files

@kyoh86 @alduro i explained that issue on gitter and why your env isn't read.
I think you need to set env = { PATH = "/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin" }
or something like that.
Another idea would be env = { PATH = vim.env["PATH"] }
