Hmm, you would probably have to do some complicated stuff w/ checking the __index values and then doing something special with the mock. I don't know how you would do so though exactly.

I guess I'll just have to go with nvim_call_function on places that I want to test. Do you have some additional alternative maybe?

I haven't mocked or stubbed anything for testing yet. I just let it run for real or re write the code so it doesn't need the vim object for the logic I'm testing.
