It also appears that I cannot install 0.5.x either:

After a bit of investigation, it appears that curl is not installed on the machine, and is aliased to wget, which is throwing off what nvm expects as output. I'm not sure if this is a situation nvm should handle or not, but that's the reason why this is failing, in the event it helps someone else.

If this is something nvm should handle, I guess can make a new ticket for it?
