We do need the annotation processing (for the @plugin here), so need to make sure not to break that.

meaning, that generatd mcmod.info must still be present:

After cleaning up in https://github.com/vorburger/minecraft-storeys-maker/pull/25, I've attempted this in https://github.com/vorburger/minecraft-storeys-maker/compare/sponge-apt-warning, but for some reason I cannot figure out yet, that does not work.

Closing this old issue, as we are currently using Gradle 6.8.2.

There IS another warning about "Deprecated Gradle features were used in this build, making it incompatible with Gradle 7.0." but that's really another issue.
