Hi.

I tried to reproduce your issue.

It looks like you had the Ubuntu repo version of OBS Studio installed (30.0.2+dfsg-3build1).
This version is neither compatible with the CI Ubuntu builds nor the PPA builds.

Trying to install the .deb file should (with the PPA version deb) result in a conflict and the installation gets cancelled when using dpkg. The CI build seems to miss the list of the conflicting packages.

A solution to avoid this for now is to either uninstall the Ubuntu repo version beforehand or use apt for intalling the deb file or using sudo apt autoremove to remove the lingering dependencies from the Ubuntu repo version.

How this should be handled inside the CI I'm not entirely sure.

But adding at least the list of conflicting packages to the CI deb would help here I guess.

The PPA builds always include the Ubuntu Version name like noble and are usually the better option for trying to install from deb files if necessary.

in trying to diagnose this it seems I did at some point accidentally do the ubuntu repo version - wiping everything and redoing 30.2 from scratch seems to have fixed things (though hozed my NDI install with various obs-frontend-api.so.0 errors and other things to troubleshoot now, but at least 30.2 is good to go, thanks!
