Sorry about this. Are you using opam 1.2 or 2.0 ?

• make build-deps should only be necessary for 1.2, I'll check that it works correctly since I haven't tested on 1.2 recently
• on opam 2.0, you only need the opam install . --deps command, or opam switch create . --deps for a new, dedicated local switch.

It seems the missing dependency is ocp-indent-nlfork. Can you check whether it's installed and whether <switch-prefix>/lib/ocp-indent-nlfork is not empty ?

Can confirm that the following works with opam 2.0.0~rc2:

opam switch create . --deps
eval $(opam env)
make

Found the issue: opam unpin ocp-indent-nlfork should be enough to fix it.
I'll file a PR shortly

Your solution for opam 2.0.0 works on my machine but doest not seem to work the MacOS X of my colleague. I will get my hands on his machine tomorrow.

Sorry, didn't document it properly but this was fixed by b64bad3, as part of #31.
