Hi Dario; we seem to be pingpong on this a little in OPAM. The majority of the libraries have the 'ocaml-' prefix stripped out for brevity, as its an ocaml-specific installation system. Do you mind if we leave it as safepass for the moment for consistency? Having said that, there are quite a few other packages with ocaml- left in the name at the moment...

Hi Anil,
I'm not particularly adamant about one way or the other... ;-) I agree that what matters is consistency among packages, and I only raised the issue because I had noticed that quite a few had the ocaml- prefix. But I reckon you already plan to eventually standardise the naming of all packages...
