Thanks for the link, I looked it over but I haven't gotten that far yet.
I did manage to get it to compile from Allegro on Git. However, it crashes as soon as I get in with glGetError 501, then kills my mouse and keyboard so I have to power cycle, which is a little dangerous for the Pi3.
I ran gdb on it and it gave me a little more information that the SEGFAULT is happening right here:

Though I don't know which Bitmap yet.
