You cannot publish an app on Apple without a developer account, so even if you could login on the VM you wouldn't be able to publish it. Even for ad-hoc builds you need one. Until then, all you can do is test it on the ios simulator

Hi did you get this error trying to add the apple ID inside the mac vm? Apple does not allow login inside a VM unfortunately

You need to start a publication build then, not a configuration one. Odevio will take care of the certificate and publication.

I am using the GUI not the cli, and the GUI requires an application(which requires a developer id to be add when creating one) for build types other than configuration

I get you clearly, then why add buildtypes that require the developer account

For the build types that require a developer account, Odevio takes care of the certificates and the configuration then publishes the app to the app store, without login in on XCode.
So if you just need to test your app on the simulator or change some settings in XCode you can start a configuration build, which will start a VM that you can connect to, and if you need to publish your app you can start an ad-hoc (for testing) or publication build, and everything will be done automatically, but for that Odevio needs your developer account.

Which I am not being able to add in the GUI app. On CLI, I tried and was getting the same error.
