How does an organization build a team to set up and run a governance program.

This scenario is implemented solely by the governance program OMAS. It uses the concept of a governance officer (from area 4) and links it to a person's profile (from area 1) to show the appointment of the individual to the governance officer post. The link is implemented by the GovernancePost relationship (area 4). In this scenario, it exercises the effectivity dating capablity supported by OMRS to allow predecessors and successors to be defined for the post.

An important development that came from this work is the use of the GovernanceDomain enum. The definitions of the governance officer and some of the governance definitions were generalized to support governance from any governance domain, not just data governance. Thus in the sample, you see Jules Keeper, the Coco Pharmaceuticals CDO organizing the organizations leaders to identifier governance officers for each of the domains that need attention.
