We don't use official ext/json, but json-c by @remicollet since the original JSON library license is non-free.

This "stupid" change introduce in recent PHP.... (stupid = BC break) will be available in pecl/jsonc 1.3.6

I was under the impression that json was recently replaced with another project in PHP core. But it seems it was not (yet?) the case. This bug explains a lot of things: https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=63520

So if I understood correctly the bug I experienced should be filed against https://github.com/json-c/json-c right ? So we keep both projects in "sync" ?

great, I can confirm that the behavior is fixed after sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade, thanks a lot !
