On Linux, launching the game with Steam but with Steam Input disabled causes the game to instantly crash

It appears that this IS in fact Input related. The error logs show that an erroneous variable, _default_xbox_type, is not defined. In fact, this variable is only used in this one instance. See the images below. I'd fix it myself, but I don't know what _default_xbox_type is supposed to be.

Please test a project with the Steamworks extension and without Input to confirm the issue is with Input and not the Steamworks extension

The project originally didn't use Input -- it used the native Game Maker commands, and it worked. Attached is a Linux
build of my game created before Input support was implemented: onu181223bII_l.zip

In any case, if you'd like me to create a new project with the requirements you specified, let me know.
(If you get the error "Steam init failed!" then try adding it to Steam as a non-Steam game.)
