It seems like most likely you're using the ctemplate 0.93 header files
but the 0.92 library (libctemplate_nothreads.so).  Is it possible for
you to totally uninstall ctemplate and then re-install it?

Also, you can try something like
   g++  -I/usr/local/include/google <...>/.libs/libtcmplate_nothreads.so main.cpp
directly -- where .libs is in the directory where you built ctemplate
0.93.

Thanks I figured it was something like that. Problem turned out to be leftover 
files
from when I was doing the rpms.  Forgot to uninstall the rpm so that the system 
would
use the version in /usr/local.
