I never tried OpenVZ, but it seems the ifconfig -a should display also your IP 67.215.3.79 but I don't see it in the output.

In any case, for Virtuozzo, change eth0 to venet0 at line: http://github.com/omega8cc/nginx-for-drupal/blob/master/INSTALL-ubuntu-debian-nginx-aegir.sh.txt#L306 and for OpenVZ I'm not sure, I need the full output from ifconfig -a with your IP listed there, since the format is different than on Xen and Virtuozzo.

You should be able to just run the script again, since it seems it didn't create /var/aegir yet.

Virtuozzo is known as a very problematic for Drupal because of I/O issues. I would never use it again to host any Drupal site. I was able to use this installer on 256 MB RAM Xen VPS, so if you are experiencing problems, it is related to your hardware/virtualization.

You shouldn't change anything on the system prior to running the installer. It can't resolve all possible problems and was tested on vanilla systems. Please try to start with vanilla system and don't run any updates, don't change hostname etc etc. just run the script, If that still fails, please post the output from:

hostname -f

hostname

uname -n

host aegir.nica.pro

Or please don't set aegir.nica.pro as an alias of nica.pro, use IN A record (not sure if that can be a problem).

@nlcluigi Thank you for clarified summary of the issue.

1. I think we can lower initial values for memory limits in MySQL/MariaDB, however this is not a problem on any dedicated box or VPS based on Xen. I can use this installer with provided memory limits on VPS with 256 MB of RAM w/o any issues.
2. I will add also a check for system used, so it will use correct network interface for Xen and Virtuozzo/OpenVZ.
3. You shouldn't install anything on the server before running the installer. It is designed to start with vanilla system, without initial apt-get update etc.
4. DNS check should also properly discover correct values if the subdomain is using CNAME and not IN A record.

1. Yes, I understand. But in OpenVZ case is like this. I will try to switch to XEN also. But the case still remain. And don't forget ... the user are very very ingenious :)

3. You are partially correct. In my case, the minimum installation do not have:
   aptitude - and you use it
   gnupg - which is used when we add ourdelta.gpg.
   wget - we use it also.
   So I install this 3 software.
   Also, I do only aptitude update without any aptitude upgrade - I do this MariaDB. Without this, the system is not aware of MariaDB right?
