Currently no, however maybe it is a good idea to add also version with this feature, so you could use it as a platforms installer on any existing Aegir server, including Apache based, since that part of the story is webserver neutral. Good idea!

I would like this too. I am setting up a server for myself and only need one instance of Aegir but would like to be able to use the Octopus platforms installer.
