Check errors in /var/aegir/install.log - it seems some changes in the Aegir head broke something, so I will update the script today to use static alpha9 release and not head.

OK, there is a patch for Drush submitted http://groups.drupal.org/node/85134#comment-265154 but I already switched our installer to the patched version of Drush, so it should work again (you can use the installer as is, the change is made in the included sub-installer only).
