You may want to write something yourself using the oauth2 gem, while you may be able to override stuff in omniauth to get this to work, I can't provide any guidance as to what you would need to override nor the workflow that you'd need.

I have overidden on_path? method. Is this correct?

Thanks for your comment. What do you think on the code i wrote in #1082 (comment). I understand that i need to also override on_callback_path? to ensure that works as well.
