@KIRA009 it does not appear to be consistent. Let's disable audio recording by default, and also add it to the dashboard configuration.

As a workaround we should add RECORD_AUDIO to the dashboard config and default to False.

@abrichr I checked this out with the latest build on windows on a fresh install, and didn't face this issue. Since we are bundling the whisper 'base' model with the build, I don't think we should be Could you try it one more time and let me know if you still find this, we can disable audio recording in that case.
