Thank you so much! I was able to successfully input my desired buffer with the fieldArea function. I appreciate your time and effort!

I have one last question regarding buffering:
Our field has different spacing between plots vertically (a few inches) and horizontally (a few feet). Have you considered implementing a separate X-axis buffer and Y-axis buffer? I believe researchers with similar field spacing to mine would find a two-part buffer very useful!
