I haven’t myself, just decimate. Unless you mean in animations, then yes, it’s a problem with the bone weights
Also am I the only one who uses sculpt mode for dino model edits? It makes life much easier and causes few problems when it comes to texture stretching

The lods do use a different armature I think
The lods are weighted differently
You need to change the weights for the lod models
It’s different for every dinosaur so I just check the stock model and match

Out of the ones I’ve edited so far, I know the weights for lods with the T.rex are different for the feet, hands, tip of tail, tongue, and entire face. The tongue problem happens with Deinonychus and Ceratosaurus as well
What I’ve seen from this server and experience is that the T.rex is the worst when it comes to different weights

Probably not an easy fix.
Does not seem to be a swapped armature but rather some sort of flag or list or distance that disables bones for successive LODs.

Possible solution is to transfer bone weights from children of jaw and head over to the jaw and head nodes for lod2+ models during export
