IDEA stopped working after installing the release

What version of IntelliJ are you running?

This might be a conflict with the original git4idea plugin.

Can you check this one thing -
Go to intelliJ dir\plugins and move the original git4idea plugin somewhere safe. Then try to restart IntelliJ. Does it work then?

That actually worked fine. Problem though is that the GitHub, BitBucket and Heroku plugins can't be enabled anymore though. While the first two aren't of too much importance to me, heroku somewhat is.

Ok, I don't use any of those myself but I have opened #3 and will have a look at the compatibility issues over the weekend!

@joetjen I've sorted out all the compatability issues and made a huge refactor to allow Git Flow and Git to work as separate plugins. This means that you first need to reinstall the original git4idea plugin (Remember I told you to keep it in a safe place? :), then install 0.2
