@ijiraq We don't seem to be getting a magnitude back from daophot for that source. Will need to do further debugging to find out what IRAF is returning. Do you know which file this occurs in?

The dophot return is empty when photometry cannot succeed. This is the
expected behaviour for the CLI but should be changed to raise an exception
when called as module and then error caught by caller.

Required modification to caller and module.

@ijiraq what is the desired behaviour of the application when the photometry cannot succeed? Do we make a special note of it somehow in the MPC file comments? Can we still write an MPC line without it?

Automatic addition to comment. Those chars left blank (including filter) in
mpc line.
