Besides, I seriously don't get the message at all. I cant even think about any reason to display this kind of message. +1 from me as well.

Yeah +1, it goes against the whole philosophy of Device agnosticism.

A better way would be to stack the bars vertically at smaller widths ... for example take a look at shinydemos.com and decrease the browser size.

Yes, please remove or make this activate to continue to site. I wanted to actually USE the site information and can't get to it on my mobile (Firefox and Chrome on Android) due to this display and lockout of access to the content.

Edit after further comments: To be clear, I understand this is a tool for desktop and not for mobile devices, and thus the reason for the message, however

  1. It isn't clear it doesn't work on mobile (that is new info, thanks!)
  2. After notifying the user, it should allow them to continue to get to the site information. Just because we are on mobile devices, doesn't indicate we can't read the content and understand it. I was simply trying to demo (on projector) from my mobile browser and was blocked from sharing it with the audience.
  3. In the same style of existing messaging, recommend: KEEP CALM; we don't; CHECK MOBILE BROWSERS so USE DESKTOP BROWSER - with a click/touch/activate to dismiss and continue browsing the site.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you explain a bit better how would you use the links on the website to update on your Android or iPhone? We think this is made through the appropriate stores. And if we were make an outdated browser for mobile devices, in case of ios, we would only have the Chrome and Opera (popular browsers).

This is a tool for desktop and not for mobile devices, that's the reason we put this lovely message. ;)

After thinking about it I thought the same thing, but this message does not leave a good impression. Your tool looks and feels great, but this message makes it literally inappropriate for us to use in a productive environment, even if it is only thought for desktop. It is not the message itself, it is the tone of it.

I've come across this site several times now, and If I clicked on an email
through my mobile phone, just to see what the site is about, your cover
message would prevent me from doing that, and I would more than likely not
visit the site again. You're losing users by not allowing mobile browsers
to even view the site. It may not be something that is useful for mobile
browsers, but I should still be able to at least see the site from one.
