Have you tried to use the following API : https://github.com/ovh/php-ovh ?

There are more recent updates compared to this one (https://github.com/ovh/php-ovh-sms)

I know this is a late answer but it might help some people :
The link to the API Key creation in the readme isn't enough for sending an SMS. You need to add a right to POST /sms/*/jobs for it to work.
