The workaround for this issue is to enable compatibility mode for the agent installer.
In order to do this:
- right click on the agent installer program and click on Properties
- open the Compatibilty tab
- In the "Compatibilty mode" section, check "Execute this program in compatibility mode for"
- Select Windows XP (Service Pack 3) in the drop-down list
- Click on Ok.
After this operation, relaunch the installer, the crash should not occur again.
