In the past, I have seen WebAPI.HAL used.

There is a decent specification it follows documented at http://stateless.co/hal_specification.html
However, It's not been touched in a few years now.
An option is to update it to the latest dotnet and consume it.
Not sure what the effort would be.

I've used Siren before, and it worked out very well. It is good for writing an actual domain oriented REST API.

Looks a bit more comprehensive than WebApiHal, what did you like about it? I reckon we can use either though. So this issue is just to add the nuget package and what use it in a sample controller?
