Yup, definitely on the roadmap. In fact, after my investigation into project-specific properties tonight I think this is pretty easy to do.

I think this request makes a lot of sense. If someone would like to take a look at how best to support the option (perhaps check out the TypeScript support in Visual Studio to see how they expose this option) then adding it via a pull request seems like a good way to go.
