Cross-project references are currently unsupported. It's something we'll need as well so its good to have on the radar.

Following references is never something we did in the eclipse plug-in and I don't believe the visual studio one does it anymore either. Instead, its suggested to put all of the files necessary for compilation into the project. If the needed files are in another project, that's the missing feature you'll need though.

FYI I'll be working on this over the next few days. My plan is to include .ts files from referenced projects (according to the project properties page) when building a project's Typescript code and checking syntax/highlighting errors, etc. (This behavior will be toggled by a preference.) Hopefully expect a pull request this week!

Thanks to @vergenzt, this should be fixed now in the mainline release. You can use "Referenced Projects" in the project properties page to set the references. There is also now an option to specify which folders are exported from each project (it uses the same syntax as source folders - use semi-colons to separate multiple folders).
