Uhm, maybe something like that?

I used the colours from all the Doom Papirus icons (doom, freedoom1, freedom2, doom3, doom-ethernal) and added an orange on the sides. Do you like this concept? I think it is pretty fitting for an app that launches all Doom games.

Great. Maybe there could be another icon, perhaps inside the D, that signifies how this is a launcher and not just a game or source port. Perhaps a play icon, or gear?

I also thought the colored lines all right next to each other look a tiny bit busy.

@morganist to be fair, I don't have a creative idea for this icon, but the second one icon I like more.

yeah, because it's not a practice for launchers overall, I think. I also really liked how the second design turned out.
