That looks like a bug in the mouse tracking code. Does it happen randomly or always after running some programs ?

The random characters do not appear if the tab is refreshed.
It happens randomly, well not completely random. Mostly after the window has been left idle for a long time. It happened after running gedit, vim, and even ROS. Pretty random behaviour, btw. But since no other application gives me error, so can I assume the mouse tracking code is bugless?
